Ok. So, remember that time I said I was all done my Game of Thrones series? Well, I lied. I can't help it, there's just so much to draw from in that series, plus I never got to show love to one of my favorite characters in the book: Khal Drogo. So first some facts, and then the look. Khal Drogo is the leader of the Dothraki, a nomadic, barbaric horse clan. Khal Drogo is the ultimate warrior and has never been defeated in battle - essentially he's pretty beast. So to pay homage to this fierce tribal warrior I did a fierce tribal look. In hindsight I wish I'd done more facial adornment (streaks/warpaint)but as far as the makeup is concerned I wanted to keep everything monotone and earthy as the Dothraki live entirely off and by the land. First time I've been thankful that my eyebrows are essentially non-existent because it made covering them up really easy. I drew the shapes using brown Gel Liner from Sephora and then set it with the darkest brown in the Coastal Scents 88P. I'm wearing a shimmery nude lip gloss from my Sephora Palette and a whole mess of Rimmel sunkissed bronzer (see the difference between my chest and face, lol).

ReplyDelete@Ailah - I use a shitty Panasonic Lumix but I make sure to have natural lighting and I do photoshop editing to bring out the shadows/highlights. I can do a tutorial on it if you'd like to see how I make the crappy digital camera shots look like high end professional shots. Would that be of any interest?
