Despite my best efforts, this turned out a lot more brown than beige but I still like the effect. To keep things summery I incorporated a pop of color on the lower waterline (my new favorite technique!). I stuck with browns and blues because those are the tones that most flatter my complexion and eyes but you could easily adapt this look to your own coloring. That's the beauty of neutrals like Driftwood! For green eyes try a pop of purple on the waterline, for brown eyes try blues and golds! Or just experiment and see what you like!
EDIT: For my waterline I used NYX's Jumbo Pencil in Milk and set the white with a blue eyeshadow from the Coastal Scents 88 Palette. As long as you have white eyeliner you can make your waterline any color you want!! How easy is that??
Whenever I'm working with blues, I like to play with pink accents. So here I used NARS Desire (just a hint!) and Rose by Elizabeth Arden on the lips. And that's it. A fun, neutral look you can wear just about anywhere this summer!
These COLETTE lashes are so girly and flirty. They add lots of length to my eyes because of the flared wingtips, and as a round eyed girl I really appreciate that. They are also sparse enough that you can wear them for daytime without feeling overdone. I took them on a spin to my afternoon class and got lots of compliments. Here's what Faux has to say...
"Our Colette lash is superb for all occasions. The short and long lash clusters create the perfect amount of volume topped off with just the right amount of curl. C’est magnifique!" - FauxLash.com
